| The Rae Plus is a versatie,
cost-effective frame tracer ideal for use in laboratories or
remote locations.
The Rae Plus links directly to the lab's host layout system
or when loaded with compatible remote data entry software, the
tracer sends digital trace data to the processing laboratory
via modem. The Rae Tracer is fast, accurate, and easy to use
and
provides the same precise reults as Gerber Coburn's other in-lab
tracing
systems. |

| Standard Features |
|
 |
The Rae Plus' 3-axis control
captures 12,800 points (A and B, as well as frame curve and elevation)
for accurate 3-dimensional shapes. This combination of measurements
yields highly accurate sizing, decreases breakage, and increases
finishing quality. |
| |
|
 |
The tracing head inclines 15 degrees allowing the tracer to follow the camber of wraparound frames that have very high curves.
|
| |
|
 |
The Rae Plus accommodates small
children's frames with a B size down to 18 mm, and very thin
frames from 1.45 mm thick. |
| |
|
 |
The Rae Plus can trace both patterns
and demo lenses for rimless frame styles by mounting them on a simple fixture. The Rae Plus sequentially traces both eyewires during the trace cycle (operators may trace one eye if desired). Frame DBL is automatically measured during tracing.
|
| |
|
 |
Operation is easy and efficient, reducing
operator error and ensuring race quality. After the frame is
inserted, a simple frame holding mechanism is clamped at the
touch of an icon on the screen display. At the start of a frame trace, the Rae Tracer
automatically inserts the stylus in the eyewiure and begins its
precise tracing. Upon copletiton of the first eyewire trace,
the tracing table shifts, the stylus is inserted again, and the
second eyewire is traced. The resulting digital trace data is
sent to the computer, and when in a remote location, then to
the lab via modem for use in surface calculation and patternless
edging. |
| |
|
 |
The color touch screen displays the
trace on a 1:1 scale. This allows instant visualization of the
lense shape modification, even in de-centered trace positions,
with excellent wide angle rendering. |
| |
|
 |
The Rae Plus features shape modification,
allowing optimization of the match between the lens, frame, and
patitent's physiology by modifying the A, B, and half-dimensions,
or by scaling. |
| |
|
 |
The Rae Plus is capable of storing 1,000 traces
in memory. Trace data is then sent to an edger or layout
upon request. |
| |
|
 |
The tracer's interface simplifies operation. User's
can cycle through the right, left, or complete trace selection
with a single touch. |
