The Acuity Finer/Polisher is an economical way to achieve highly accurate lenses automatically. Sophisticated microprocessor programming automatically selects the best processing times and pressures for all lens materials, including CR39, polycarbonate, hi-index and glass. This degree of precision is supported by a mechanical design providing optimized fining and polishing orbits.

Operating the Acuity requires no special training. Push one button and the liquid crystal display guides operators through each step in plain English. (French, German and Spanish versions are also available.) The display program can be customized, so that any lab's process is easily accommodated. The Acuity speeds cycle times with a new feature FasStart™, which automatically clamps the laps and lenses in place when the cycle is engaged.

The Acuity is versatile, easily handling a wide curve range as well as the diamond fining process for glass lenses. Excellent results are consistently achieved using a one-step or two-step fining process. The need for minor stroke adjustments is eliminated, saving the operator time even as your lab maintains the highest standard.

The mechanical durability of the Acuity gives it a long production life in even the most demanding lab. Its practicality is enhanced by its ergonomic design, unsurpassed by anything else on the market today. Tasks like loading and rinsing lenses are made easier because every work surface is positioned at the correct height for comfort and effortless access.

The Acuity is also styled and proportioned to fit easily into any laboratory environment. It has a compact 18" x 29" footprint and a clean, modern appearance. Its operation is quiet enough for any office. Portability and easy access to interior assemblies make cleaning and routine maintenance easy.
