Gerber Coburn and Essilor Instruments Renew Distribution Agreement

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn.  September 18, 2008. – Gerber Coburn, a business unit of Gerber Scientific, Inc. (NYSE: GRB), and Essilor Instruments, a division of Essilor International, Paris, have announced the continuation of their partnership by renewing their long-standing distribution agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, Gerber Coburn will continue to distribute Essilor branded finishing products in the United States and Australia as well as several non-Essilor branded finishing products on a worldwide basis.
