Stephen Lovass was appointed President of Gerber Coburn and Senior Vice President of Gerber Scientific, Inc., in July 2007. Prior to this appointment, Lovass was Vice President of Gerber Scientific, Inc. and President of Spandex, Ltd. based in Brussels, Belgium - a position he held since November 2006. Lovass was formerly Group Managing Director of Spandex, Ltd. Before assuming the role of Group Managing Director in February 2005, Lovass was Vice President – Marketing and Business Development for Spandex.
Lovass joined Gerber in May 2001 as Executive Director of Marketing and Product Management for Gerber Technology. Prior to Gerber, Lovass spent five years in a series of senior marketing, strategy, and business management positions, both in the United States and internationally for FMC Corporation. Lovass holds a degree in business commerce from the University of Melbourne in Australia, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
